There's nothing more nerve-wracking than not knowing what to do when something unexpected happens. Doorkeeper can display the Site's Contact name, phone number and email address, to assist your visitors when issues occur.
With Doorkeeper, there is no need to actively monitor your registrations.
How to test👇
Navigate to Settings > Location on the Nirovision web app and look for the new Site Admin panel.
Fill in the Admin details. Changes are immediately applied to Doorkeeper.
What else is new?
Custom metadata fields are now included in all .csv export options: Events, Check-ins and Identities. Look for the export button right next to Sort and Order.
Low-quality enrolment photos are the main culprits behind duplicates. If you are collecting emails or phone numbers via surveys, you can use them to look for matches against existing records.
Attendance view is now available in our iOS mobile app. 🔜 Android!
🔵 What's Improved
Doorkeeper has a wider field of view for detecting if someone is present, improving detections on the edges of the frame.
You may have noticed a countdown begin sometimes during your check-in process. This occurs when a registration is underway, but a face is no longer in Doorkeeper’s field of view. You can now extend this time, or disable it altogether. Look for the Auto Close dropdown in the General Settings.
We’ve improved the way we track and report on the health of hubs and connected cameras. Partners, make sure to stop by the Portal to check the new alerts.
Admins, we’ve improved Activity Context Menus across the applications:
On web, right-click on any Event, Check-In or Attendance record to display the different options per view.
On iOS and Android, long press on any Event or Check-In.
🔴 What's Fixed
Hub software update and supported application fixes.
Sometimes check-ins failed in such a way that would cause Doorkeeper to freeze. We’ve addressed this now - stay frosty ❄️
We fixed a few issues associated with cover images.
Viewer permissions give users access to the applications but no editing rights - but sometimes our UI wouldn’t accommodate. We’ve fixed those views now 🕶️.
